Once upon a time, there was a beautiful doctor named Shannon. Shannon left her homeland (Montana) to travel to a far-off land (Florida). There, she met a courageous, young man named Joseph. They fell in love and decided to get married. As tradition would have it, this couple registered for gifts at “Ye Olde Shoppe”. There were several problems though… Both of the nuptials have a lot of stuff already, and this makes their gift list rather small. Also, the wedding will be in Shannon’s homeland and they can’t take anything back with them. What are they to do?
Well, the moral of the story is:
Please keep in mind that we cannot take presents from Montana to Florida. We will be leaving Montana sometime after the wedding and travel abroad for the rest of the honeymoon. So, a suggestion would be to send personal gifts to:
Shannon Brooke
16 Maples Street
Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548
We have someone trustworthy picking-up the gifts in our absence. Also, since we are flying directly from Montana to abroad, we don’t mind receiving gift cards or money. In fact we encourage it!
Finally, please don’t feel the need to buy a gift. Material things are not as important to us as your prayer and kind words. Feel free to donate to a Christian ministry in honor of our wedding day instead of a gift.
